The leadership group has primary responsibility for, and oversight of, IF’s activities. With a membership of 35, the group meets six times annually to share information and set strategies.
The leadership group has oversight of the IF brokerage fund. This fund is used to supplement existing funding of participating agencies, where they can demonstrate that such funding will lead to improved outcomes in the activity focus areas identified by the Leadership Group. The Leadership Group is chaired by a not-for-profit member, St Patrick’s Community Support Centre.
The steering committee is a subgroup of the leadership group with delegated authority to make decisions on key matters including finance, recruitment, and significant risk issues. The Steering Committee has a membership of nine and meets at least six times a year, as well as meeting as needed for time sensitive issues.
The members of our working groups are drawn from the Leadership Group, as well as other key organisations and individuals who are involved in the collaborative work. Presently there are three working groups:
Supporting young people, their families and carers, communities and schools.
Aiding the State Government’s 10 year strategy for ending homelessness.
Responding to issues faced by residents of suburbs with high density social housing.
